More Disney... family photos this round

Post by Monica »

My sister sent me a pile of Disney photos from the past 2 decades to scrap, and I'm using them to try getting my mojo back. This one's from 2001, one of the two times they met Atlantis:The Lost Empire characters. I did add journaling along the bottom edge after taking the picture...

I find it much easier to scrap other people’s photos. What about you?
This is a very nice page! I love the color combination.

I recognize that paper! Some of my favorite.

Great LO. It's definitely easier to scrap other people's photos.

I really like this page Monica. I don't recognize the paper, who made it?

Thank you all! Yes, I find it easier to scrap other people's photos. And Keitha, it's a Club Scrap kit from 2008 called Cyprus. I've saved it for the perfect photos, and now I have them! I actually have one more photo op from a different day to scrap, so you'll be seeing a second page at some point.

And in case anyone is curious, the titles were created by me and cut out on the Silhouette Cameo, and the image of Kida and Milo was downloaded and cut out with it as well before I colored it.

Monica this is super! Loved Cyprus too and used it all up. Your sister will be thrilled with this and I guess a lot more to come!

You did a great job with the Silhouette. Looking forward to seeing more of your layouts.

You all sick of these yet? Found some mojo yesterday, so I worked on more Disney photos for my sis as part of the Labor Day crop on DisneyScrappers.

The first one was a challenge to use a shape on your page outlined with stickers, die cuts, etc. I used two round shapes to pencil in a Mickey head silhouette, adhered the photo over top, then dug out enamel dots and stickers to place on the shape. It was a really great way to highlight a panoramic photo!

The second one is photos of my nephew at the King Arthur Carrousel. I used the carousel horse sticker as the inspiration for the color palette and a sketch from DisneyScrappers as inspiration.

Oh, I haven't finished my 2016 WDW and cruise yet. I don't mind scrapping Disney at all but I was tired of seeing just my photos. Now I have the adorable pix of my nephew and nieces at Disneyland to scrap.

Halloween 2013 at Disneyland. I used Echo Park Arsenic & Lace and Chillingsworth Manor for papers, Pink Paislee Spellcast embellishments, large spiderweb is a TH die, and the spiderweb Minnie is a cutfile.
