The tough love was several years ago when I kicked his rear out of our house and told him that he was on his own.

The drama continued after they left, but he's gone and I don't feel guilty.

My poor cat is finally coming out of hiding and Bugs is glad to not be relegated to only a few rooms. Normalcy is returning.
