Birds of a Feather

Post by paddlegal »

I am in love with these goofy owls from Rabbit Hole Stamps.

The sentiments are from a Brutus Monroe set of feathers. The cool thing about this Brutus Monroe set is there is no die set for it but rather a cut file for 99 cents!

A dear friend of mine I’ve known for 40 years was in the ER last week and is ok now but on Mother’s Day her husband had to go to the ER and is still in hospital. Just a fun supportive note to send to her today.

“Painted” with CP inks and blender brushes. Not my best job painting but it’s a handmade card, LOL.

Thank you everyone!

Pam it IS the eyes. That is what hooked me. When I colored it I originally I left all the wings uncolored to create a relation to the B&W stripes but realized it took away from the eyes, so I added more color.

Those owls have certainly got attitude! And just like in any group photo, there is always one with their eyes shut :P
