iNSD 2020 - Texture

Post by pamcook »

Use Texture media of any sort - or the illusion of texture. Think - stitching, pastes/mousse, fabrics, sequins, enamel dots, flair, ribbon/fibers...
Or maybe you have patterned papers that look like burlap, sand, waves, clouds, fur...?

Using one of Vicki Boutin’s texture mediums with a stencil.

Wow, Pam, I can't figure it out. Are the star shapes the texture through a stencil? Love the butterflies and that photo of you!

Fun layout! Great photo and just look at that smile. OK - the hair is fun too, but the smile is the best!

Yes - the star shapes are the stencil design. Texture paste is called “creativefx”. The color is Silver Glaze. It was $2.99 at Tuesday Morning. Worth a chance at that price. Like the Nuvo drops I’ve tried, they dry pretty quickly. Perfectly meets my need for instant gratification.

Thanks everyone!

This one definitely counts for texture. The background is glitter paper that I’ve had forever. The letters are diecuts from more glitter paper. And I added her festive ribbons!!

That’s great Debi! Nothing like glitter for Nee Year’s.

Stamping in the background and layers on top. Okay - stretch.
