While We're Waiting...ATC Swap CREATING
Re: While We're Waiting...ATC Swap
Sorry, Sue. I was trying to go on memory when I listed everyone. Senility is real!
Re: While We're Waiting...ATC Swap
Made my ATCs today. Plan A wasn't doing it for me. Plan B was a fail. Finally Plan C came together.

This sounds like fun but I'll pass this time. Right now I am avoiding deadlines even if they're creative ones. Once they are all done I hope someone posts them all.

Sue, I'm still working on Plan A.
No problem, Farley. Maybe we can do another PAO birthday swap later. That's several months down the road.

I also have an idea...hope my supplies arrive in time.
Re: While We're Waiting...ATC Swap
I had made my backgrounds as soon as this was posted, but then Plan A fell apart. I tried lots of different things but got really frustrated until I finally understood that I was trying to force it to be something that wasn't "me." After that I started thinking out of the box and figured out how to make the original plan work.
Which takes me back to my original mantra - don't over think it! Now I have a new one - don't force it.

Mine are in the mail today!
Re: While We're Waiting...ATC Swap CREATING
I haven't even figured out what I'm doing yet. Don't expect mine early.
Re: While We're Waiting...ATC Swap CREATING
Told you all that I'm BORED! There's not a lot that I can do outside unless it involves sitting on the mower or golf cart - I actually walked to the mailbox this morning and was limping before I got there. This knee is still not 100%. If I go out to mow I get frustrated because I see all of the things that need to be done that nobody else wants to do. The homemade weed killer didn't work in spite of me adding 3x the amount of salt to it, so I need to make a trip to Lowes for some sort of herbicide that won't give me cancer. The house and deck need pressure washing but the weather is still a bit too cold to do that. My herb order hasn't arrived yet, so I can't plant my container gardens yet. And Chris has decided to go back on his work schedule even though he can't go back to work, which means he's awake all night and asleep all day. That makes vacuuming and hanging things a little hard.
So..... I'm making things! It's either do that or scream.

I mailed mine this morning . Keitha, I wanted to avoid going into the post office, so I put three U.S. forever stamps on yours. It should work, according to the internet, but if it doesn't, I have an extra one and can resend it with the proper international stamp.

Sue...I did that once to send cards to Keitha and Kathryn. They both responded that they received them.
I was going to do so again with the ATC.

3 is actually over the int'l cost per the PO, but that's what I do if I don't make the trip downtown. I told the postman that I had been doing 2 Forever stamps and he said that sometimes they just let it slide. Maybe that's why they're broke??? After that I either used extra or had Adam swing into the PO.
Does anyone besides me use their kitchen scale to weigh envelopes? I have the thing because so many recipes now call for grams or ounces and mine measures both. It's hard to figure out how much sugar you need when the recipe says 18 oz. or 24 grams or whatever. My mind just doesn't work that way
