I actually have a postal scale, because I ship packages to New Zealand a couple times a year...

I also have a postal scale, and I made one of those slotted templates to check the thickness of my envelopes.

I just opened my mail and I also received Pam's card and ATC. Love both of them. Thank you! The colors on the ATC are so pretty.

It's funny that we had the discussion about Distress Oxides vs regular Distress and whether or not you can mix them. Of course I had to see how they'd react to each other on paper. Then Pam posted his video and I had to chuckle while watching it because by then I'd made my backgrounds.

I hope I didn’t mis-speak. You just can’t use the same applicator sponge. You need to keep those separate. You can certainly layer the ink & Oxide.

And layer them I did. No, we were mostly talking about the applicators. But I think we did touch a bit on using them together. I have to say that I'm at the point where I prefer using the DOs because of the vibrance of the colors.

I was surprised at how pretty the colors of Oxide pop when layered on top of the Distress Ink.
