Envelopes

I need some envelopes for homemade cards. I have regular sized ones, but I think I need 5x7" or larger. Does Michaels sell any?

I'm thinking maybe of making matching envelopes, maybe you could find some templates so you can make them to match your cards??

If you find templates, let us all know :)

The only envelopes I have ever found at Michaels have been paired with blank cards.

Darn.. we don't have a staples near here. I have one near my parents house, though, if I can get there anytime soon.

here is a site with a bunch of templates to make your own. Maybe if there isn't the right size you could adapt some measurements.

Is there anything Christy doesn't have the answer for? We could make a game of trying to stump her. LOL

Yep - that's the reason why I called her Martha Stewart in another thread!

LOL, Martha Stewart does fit!

I bought some envelope templates from QVC a while back. It's a set of poly shapes that you tear around to get each size envelope. Not sure if it has anything as big as 5x7.

At the Staples near me, there is a section where there are cards separate from envelopes. Also, Swoozies has the same sort of options.

Erin...do you have the regular Cricut or the Expression?
Joy just posted a link that shows which cartridges has an envelope. If you have the Expression....this may help.

Or try www.staples.com. I bet officemax or office depot might have them too. If you sign up at www.ebates.com before going to these sites, you can get a rebate (If you want to use my email as a referral it is Hasmom99@yahoo.com). I tend to buy mine at Staples. Another thought - if you buy a set with cards are Michael's or AC Moore, with a coupon it could be worth it even if you use the blank cards as backgrounds or not at all.

Thanks for the links. I noticed that Michaels does sell plain 6x9" envelopes. I also went to Archivers and they sell 5x7" and 6x9". Yay!
