I’ve Lost My Best Friend and Love

I haven’t slept at all so I’m writing to you, my friends this morning. My sweet, dear husband passed away just before midnight. He had collapsed and with us on the phone to 911 Charley and I performed CPR until the Fire Dept arrived. They worked very hard. They did take him to the hospital but as soon as we arrived and were taken to a private room I knew I’d lost my love. I feel numb and can’t believe I’m writing this.

I can’t express enough what a wonderful, loving, thoughtful and generous husband he was. I am devastated.

Oh, Farley. I was crying before I even opened your message because I was afraid of what I was going to read. I can't even express the sadness I feel for you right now.
