Debi and Everyone...Great Organizing Sale

Post by paddlegal »

Debi I just randomly stumbled on this sale at Scrapbook.com. Here’s a link to some ink pad storage similar to mine. Actually better since each slot holds one pad rather than how I have to stack mine. They are too tall to fit under my shelving so a high space is needed unless you can take them apart. Didn’t read everything but they looked good to me.

Of course Debi you may need a double order, LOL. These will hold 24 ink pads.

I’m looking at a craft tower...maybe. If I can actually find a spot for this I’d like it to hold my blending tools and such.

I've got my ink cubes in one of these... and once it was full, I decided it was time to stop buying ink cubes .. they've been having these at Tuesday Morning for about $15 for a while

And I'm using two of these for other inkpads... one for Distress and the other for my other full-size inkpads

My Stampin' Up inkpads are in one of their spinner racks.. a double-decker one. I need to drag that out so I can reach it better and use those more often, too

the plastic totes are good for me since I either take them down to Helen's house when I scrap with her... or they're portable in the house - most of my scrapping is done in the living room these days.. it keeps Chevie happy :-)

I saw that rotating tower, but decided it wouldn't hold everything I'd probably want to put on it. I will confess though, to placing a couple small orders there this month to get these 'free' stackable bottle storage cases:
https://www.scrapbook.com/store/sbc-20350660.html
I won't stack them, but will use them to corral like bottles in a drawer. The case won't fit in the drawer with the lid on, but turned upside down the lid serves to corral other bottles so is useful itself. The only design flaw I can see is that the bottom of the case is open - and when you're storing bottles on their head, I'd prefer a closed container so if one leaks the mess is contained.
'Free' wasn't really. Scrapbook.com included the value of the case in the total declared value of the package, so I got flagged for HST coming across the border as it put the order just over the allowable limit. While I don't mind paying the HST I was not happy that I had to pay the post office a handling fee of 10 bucks to collect it. So I more than paid for that 'free' storage case.
