Wow, thanks so much, my friends! It's been a good day though fairly normal, I did laundry, actually packed a box, sorted out some scrapping embellishments and started going through the 12x12 paper! We had a chat to Robin and lots of well wishes from friends, thanks so much!

No apple fritters for me this morning. In fact, I made breakfast. On Friday we went up to Pennsylvania for a few errands and to an Amish market and bought chipped dried beer, I made it this morning for breakfast on toast.

Ray did a big effort for dinner, he is feeling so much better. it was great. Scallops in butter, garlic, and herbs first, then a marinated roast lamb, roasted potatoes, carrots and green beans. And, a fabulous 2013 Ridge Paso Robles Zinfandel to drink with it. Dessert was a real throwback, Crepe Suzette with vanilla ice cream, which we haven't had for decades. He doesn't believe in anything light!
