Taking a cue from Shimelle this month.

Make a layout with photos of YOU and document 10 random facts about YOU.

Is this sketch from Shimelle? I'm curious as to what's cut off at the top and bottom; on my computer the sketch isn't whole.

Also, curious where you're finding Shimelle currently on Social Media. She doesn't update her blog regularly anymore. I hate following a million people on dozens of social media sites; I don't have time for all that.

There's nothing at the bottom - it's not one of her sketches and I don't remember where I found it. It was cut off from whatever source I found it.

Shimelle does live videos on Facebook most Monday and Fridays. If you're on facebook, I can send you the link. She does them on her "Shimelle" page that identifies her as an "artist". Its a pain to find. If they ever finish their home renos, she plans to resume Youtube videos. She has a new class starting "soon" - it's all about using sketches.

Looking at the proportions of the sketch I don't think there was anything else to it. It looks like 12 x 12 to me with rectangles and squares across the top and bottom.

I actually have an idea using the sketch AND adding the random things. IF I can find a photo of me. Maybe I'll borrow Macie's Elsa wig.

You can view them afterwards. I’ve really enjoyed them. It’s nice to be able to comment or ask questions as she makes the layout.

That's a great layout!! Fun details and interesting random facts. You and I started scrapbooking the same year. Both of us before Shimelle did. LOL

It's from Vicki Boutin 2019. It actually has a small section layered on top but I dumped them all into the larger packet. Further investigation - its from her Wildflower and Honey Collection and they're still available at scrapbook.com (on sale $4.37 USD). Those packets are jammed packed.

I've made my list of random things, just need to decide on papers. I'm a theme scrapper - and 'random' is so not helping me LOL! Actually, I have at least figured out what file the papers are coming out of, but I'm back in paper purge mode today so the scrapping will wait until tomorrow.

I've been sorting and purging paper so when I came across these old Ki Memories papers which had been cut into decided they'd work fine for this layout. Ironically, the product line is called Pieces of Me. I did start with the sketch but the blocks of paper weren't working for me lined up as borders; instead I used them randomly around the page to anchor my tags and prefer the chaotic result. The jewels and loopy border bit are probably the same vintage as the papers, LOL; both things I've come across recently in my reorganizing. Debating if I need to add the subtitle '12 random things about me'; once I started making my list I ended up with 12 things, and decided to go with it.
