2020 BUJO In Progress...Now Completed!

Post by paddlegal »

Since we did our Christmas over the weekend with the kids, Bob and I are having a nice mellow 2 days. This gave me some much needed down time and sleep. So yesterday I started on my various BUJOs and CANVOs. Beginning with my 2020 Leuchturrm style bujo I’ve created my opening pages and a little of January.

There’s a trend in BUJO world for Art Deco so I gave my opening page a semi-art deco style for the 2020. The stamping around my quote is lame due to the bulkiness of the preceding pages.

Here’s what I’ve got so far...more to come:

Very impressive and I love your color choices.

I could not find any lame stamping. You hid it well.

We’re having a quiet two days. Have been sitting in this amazingly comfy chairs for hours thinking about getting up.

Your colors are wonderful, and I love the crystals. Art Deco has always been one of my favorite motifs but not one that I do very well.

I completely ripped off your colors.
Not nearly as impressive as yours and my brain-dump stuff is on the other side. My goal is to actually use this planner again. Will see if that happens but no use doing much more until I see if I’m disciplined enough to use it again.

Haha...I want to see it Pam! Please show us.

Meanwhile I’ve finished the rest of January:

Last 2...

The very last page on the right is a sticker that came with the Crystal set.

Your journals are really lovely, but I think after all that work
of preparing the journal, I'd be too tired to use it :D or
I wouldn't want to mess it up by writing in it.

Looks great Farley! I continue to be impressed with how you set up your pages for exactly what you've got going on. And look at you with stuff already planned six months in advance - my furthest firm commitment at the moment is in April. Art Deco isn't just a trend in the BUJO world, it's been showing up in home decor for awhile.
Pam, good for you for getting back to your monthly journal. Please do show us more of it.

You both amaze me! I'm not organized enough to keep up with a journal but they're certainly intriguing projects.

Thank you Pam! I really enjoy making these pages and once I do I feel obligated to actually use them. There’s a strange pleasure in filling it up with my day-to-day life.
