Elizabeth...you made me laugh. Wouldn't that be something to dance by New Years! I'll work on it.

Thank you everyone for your comments and well wishes. It means a lot.

The pain, the pain. I am feeling like a wimp. Amazing what a spinal block will do. LOL, and now it's gone. My surgery was more complicated, due to tight area and size. More details not needed here. ;) Lying in bed is uncomfortable, so sitting in a chair. Walked the hall a bit.

The plan is to go home, with Greg and Dan being my helpers. Please keep a good thought.

I’ve taken care of many hip replacement patients. Just because insurance companies say so doesn’t mean patients should go home so soon. :censor:
Let those men care for you and move as much as you safely can.
Praying.

I am home. My doctor did say I could stay till tomorrow if I wanted. My favorite thing is not having to wait for staff to help you into bathroom, watch you sit and then get you safely back to bed or chair. Whew. Being a patient is not fun. Blessings to all the nurses out there.
