I'm back making layouts, now all the Christmas cards are done. This is from our holiday to Scandinavia in 2018. The ribbon was from a CS kit many years ago!

Great choice of fiber on the layout, Kathryn. It looks like the spiky blue flowers and Brian's striped shirt!

With 24+ hours to go I've one more for this category. Not sure Marianne had this in mind but it's fiber so I'm calling it good. I've wanted to do one of these since I first saw them, but doubt I'd do it often enough to make having any dies worthwhile. So I opted to sandwich my string between two layers on the card front; as you can see from the second photo it's open to the inside. Fittingly, I got the perle cotton I used for the string art from Marianne.

Wow, Keitha, that is amazing! How did you do the grid so evenly?

Thanks ladies. For the grid, I taped the kraft piece of cardstock to that black glass mat upside-down, with the lines on the mat straight and centered. I put double-sided tape around all four edges and then stretched my cord from side to side and top to bottom following the grid lines on the glass mat, making sure it was stuck to the tape at each end. I put another piece of double-sided tape over the ends of the cord to adhere it to the front panel. A bit fiddly, but quite easy to do.
Jennifer McGuire's technique of doing four layered images at once on a square piece of card is brilliant. You rotate the card in your stamp press for each layer, so you get 4 images with only having to line your stamps up once.
