Happy Thanksgiving dear friends. We just had our thanksgiving tonight (Wednesday) and it was the nicest, calmest ever! My step daughter and her family were to come but one of the kids is sick. Bummer. But we’ll get together next weekend. So it was just me, Bob, Charley and his terrific girl friend, Leigh Ann. Delicious meal if I do say so myself, good wine and we all watched, “La Chèvre”. Hilarious French movie made in the 80s. (Remade in the US as “Pure Luck”...but not as good.)

I hope you all enjoy your day with family and friends and be safe and warm in this wild weather across the country!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Tom and I are in North Carolina. He left (driving) Monday morning and beat the storm. I got to the airport before the storm hit, stayed the night in a hotel, but my Tuesday morning flight was canceled. Finally got here about 11 pm Tuesday. Our furniture won't arrive until Monday or Tuesday, but we're keeping busy. Can't wait to get my stuff and settle in.

Yay Sue! So happy to know you and Tom arrived safely. Your timing is amazing in spite of that one cancelled flight. I am so impressed with your ability to move so fast and get your move done so quickly.

I hope your flight, once on the plane, wasn’t too stressful. Happy Thanksgiving to you two and can’t wait to see photos of your new home.
