Knight Before Christmas

Post by Keitha »

For those who are interested, I just got notice that the Christmas movie I did for Netflix this year is now available. It's called Knight Before Christmas. I have no idea if it's any good, haven't watched it myself yet.

We filmed it in Bracebridge, Ontario this past spring. Bracebridge is halfway between where I live in Barrie and where I work in North Bay. Actually it's closer to home, but I wasn't on set so stayed in North Bay while we were shooting. I put the filming crew up in hotels in Bracebridge.

Was the castle a film set? Is the snowy forest real? I am such a nerd. Sometimes I get caught up in the details of the scenes and have to rewind because I stop listening to the dialogue!

The castle scenes were filmed in Ireland, there was a small second unit shoot there. The forest is real; we added the snow.

We watched tonight and enjoyed. Extra special knowing Keitha worked on it. Is there a way to get a list of all the movies you worked on?

I'd love to see that list as well.

Sadly, I haven't seen a single Christmas movie yet this year. Maybe after work today.

To see what I've worked on, you can start with my IMDB page. It's not complete but does include The Santa Clause in 1994 (I started in film in 1990):
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0715065/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 If that link doesn't work just search for Keitha M. Redmond.

My newer stuff's not all there - guess that gives me a project to do. Here's what I've done in the last couple of years:
Love on the Books (Hallmark, 2018)
Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday (Hallmark, 2019)
Crossword Mysteries: Proposing Murder (Hallmark, 2019)
Crossword Mysteries: Abracadaver (Hallmark, 2019)
Too Close for Christmas (2020 - aired on Lifetime)
Tycoon's Kiss (2020 - this will probably air in the new year)
