November BUJO
November BUJO
I finished my November BUJO last night and I am happy. I used PlanningWithKay September stickers “Apples” kit. I am glad I saved it for November. It fits the month for me.

Looks great Farley! I've a question, just 'cause I'm curious - will you have pages left in my BUJO at the end of the year, and will you just carry on with 2020? Or do you start a new book for each year?
Re: November BUJO
Your lettering amazes me!

Thank you Monica!!Keitha wrote:Looks great Farley! I've a question, just 'cause I'm curious - will you have pages left in my BUJO at the end of the year, and will you just carry on with 2020? Or do you start a new book for each year?
Thank you Jill. I liked the colors of the stickers for that month also. Kay Mason who not only designs the stickers but also manufactures them herself. She is so talented.
Pam, thank you. My lettering is a work in progress. I hadn’t practiced brush lettering in several weeks and its amazing how fast I lose my hand control. But I was happy it looks alright. This keeping up with the months has been great practice in itself.
Keitha, that’s a great question and one that I’ve been pondering over. I have other journals-in-waiting once I run out of room in this current one. So do I want a volume per year or just keep going? Interestingly, Kay’s journals keep going until she’s out of room and then does a special group of pages in the beginning of the new journal to carry over important items from the old one.
In other words Keitha, I have no idea what I am going to do.

Re: November BUJO
I was going to ask about it last night. I worked on November and December a couple of nights ago.
I typically keep last month, this month, and next month in my binder. The past months get recycled.

I don't keep a paper journal, but if I did I think I'd keep the old ones. At some point during a move I purged my old Filofax calendars and pages which I now regret because it's amazing what looking back on those pages reminds you of. Even if you just list the facts on a calendar - birthday get-togethers, events attended, etc - they are a powerful reminder of things that happened at those times.pamcook wrote:I was going to ask about it last night. Farley, I'm guessing with all the work you put into your BUJO that you'll be keeping them, at least for awhile?

I do plan on keeping these journals with me for a long time. In many ways they are to me what photo albums are to others. And like you, I like referring back to kick my memory on details of an event or other memory.
