A question about moving clear stamps and ink pads

We will most likely be moving this winter. It's very possible that temperatures could be below freezing here and across the plains. The moving van will probably be on route for three days. Will freezing temps for a few days damage my clear stamps or ink pads?

I think they should be fine only because the companies don’t halt shipment in the winter.
For sure, contact customer service to see what they have to say.

I'd think the stamps should be fine.... I'd maybe find a styrofoam cooler or shipping box and put my inks in there. That'd give them a bit more protection from the cold. Or... hardware store should have sheets of the foam insulation... a 3/4" sheet is under $20 and then you could cut sections of it and line a moving box with it...

I've emailed a couple of manufacturers and will see if I get a reply, but your idea of a Styrofoam cooler for ink pads might work, and I already have some.

My stamps and ink have moved several times in cold weather months. Once things were put in storage for a few months. No issues.

Do pack all your precious things yourself. Packers do not seem to realize the importance of our stuff! UHAUL sells some great boxes, just saying...

Yes, I've already packed most of my precious things and they are marked to go in our car. Unfortunately, the antique furniture will have to go in the moving van. I can only hope that they treat them with extreme care.

My response from Ranger regarding ink pads...…..
" We have not received any reports of ink pads being adversely effected by freezing temperatures. Just allow them to adjust to room temperature before use".

Best to you in your move with your goodies! When we moved I pretty much took most of my stuff like inks and stamps in my vehicle but then I was only moving one state south to the same type of weather. I do have a friend who left her stuff in storage for a very long time and when she took it out all her inks had dried up.

I hadn't thought about any of that yet. Makes me wonder if I will have the opposite problem, could clear stamps melt/get sticky traveling south over the equator in a container on a ship, the ship is bound to hit hot temps in one hemisphere or the other if we go in Summer/Winter. Of course, they are imported for sale there but may just be coming from China and faster.
