I have exciting news

Post by pugmom »

We just signed papers to put an offer on a house in Morganton, North Carolina :-o

We were in the Charlotte area driving around for four days. The intent was just to get the lay of the land and see if we liked it. Well, my husband wanted to drive by a house he had seen online and a real estate agent was just leaving as we drove up. He was able to show us the house and we loved it. We decided to see a few more houses before we left, but the first one couldn't be beat.

I'm sure we will be negotiating for a few days, but I'm hopeful that we can come to an agreement with the seller.

The sad part is that I now have to get this place almost down to the bare bones so it can go on the market SOON. I need to pack up my scrap room and get new carpet in there, so I won't be participating much for a while, but I will be looking at everyone's beautiful creations.

Please send good vibes our way that this works out and goes smoothly.

Oh, and my husband suggested I use the formal dining room as my craft room, since we didn't want a dining room this time.
I didn't argue --- it's bigger than what I currently have and will be perfect.

Congrats, that is exciting and with the market in Colorado you will sell overnight! My daughter lived in her house in Thornton for 9 months and made 90,000 on her house.......too bad she blew it all!

I hope you will get to come to the Outer Banks for ReCreate!, would be soooo much fun.

Wow... congrats! Moving is one of those love/hate things for me, but it's always fun to move into a new space.

Not sure if your remember Jenni Benni. She’s still officially a member - anyway she lives in Morganton. You should get in touch with her.
I’ve only driven through the town once but it’s charming!
I do hope it all goes smoothly for you!
