Brick & Mortar shopping
Brick & Mortar shopping
Stopped at Target - didn’t buy a thing but they had some Dear Lizzy & Pinkfresh embellishments. That might have been the first time I’ve ever walked out of Target without a purchase.

No Target near us, sadly. 2 Walmarts and a Meijers.

They have “just enough”. No 12 x 12 paper at our store and they had every possible color of Color Box Inks (sad face). I wonder which brand of ink they’ll start carrying? Most stamps are wood mounted. Anyway, I always enjoy shopping there.

Looks like some fun goodies, Pam. Love the colours of the clustered stickers, and that purple envelope is yummy too!
Re: Brick & Mortar shopping
Hmmmmm. I have one near me but I've never gone there. I have to go down that way today......maybe I should stop in.

Great selections Pam.
My PS is about 40 minutes away in Roseville. My dentist is up there too so when I do my 6 month cleaning I reward myself with a visit to them. I never leave empty handed. Love them during the holidays for interesting gifts for family and friends...even those who aren’t crafty. Great calendars that you don't see elsewhere.
Mine has never had 12x12 papers. But they have GORGEOUS huge sheets of specialty papers. Some of my best stickers and embellishments have come from them.

I stopped yesterday - what a fun store. So much to look at. I didn't need anything, but couldn't resist buying a couple sheets of that gorgeous specialty paper. I also got a card kit for 50% off.

Re: Brick & Mortar shopping
Of course, I've never heard of it or been to one. That's probably a good thing. Closest one is 66 miles away.

Re: Brick & Mortar shopping
Might be 66 miles for you Marianne; for me it's 273 miles; of course there are none in Canada. But I'll try and remember if I'm ever stateside again to look for one.Debbie J wrote:Road trip!mpizzazz wrote:Of course, I've never heard of it or been to one. That's probably a good thing. Re: Brick & Mortar shopping
Marianne and Keitha, you might as well make the trip here. We can go to Paper Source, Tuesday Morning, and Joann. All the shopping!

Re: Brick & Mortar shopping
Thanks Pam. Keitha and I talk about meeting halfway somewhere. Now it needs to be a place with a Paper Source.pamcook wrote:Marianne and Keitha, you might as well make the trip here. We can go to Paper Source, Tuesday Morning, and Joann. All the shopping!
I'd really like the Tuesday Morning to be the closest. Nearest of those is about 40 miles. We live in the last wasteland for shopping between DC and New York.
Re: Brick & Mortar shopping
I wanted to go see Keitha this summer (on set) but it didn’t work out. Maybe next year. If the economy really tanks again next year, we might be stuck here until we retire.
I want to live far from civilization. If I can’t get it online, I don’t need it. That’s going to be my new mantra.

Re: Brick & Mortar shopping
following the thread, I did a search for Paper Source
near me, there just happens to be one right here in
Brooklyn, NY. They even have photos of the store and
some of their products on line
That specialty paper, I don't know what it will feel like
but the patterns are out of this world. I might just need to
make a trip to downtown Brooklyn.
