Paper and cardstock

Post by pamcook »

I did it. I purged 30% of my paper and 50% of my cardstock. I counted each set and forced myself to stick to those minimums.

If anyone would like some, just let me know. You pay the postage is all I ask. It’s divided into basic color groups. The entire stack is 8” tall.

If you’d like me to throw in some thickets, just ask. I have all colors - some full sets some partial.

I can use yellows and pinks, and I'm always up for Thickers. I was just getting ready to order some card stock.

I have 20 partially used paper pads that I didn’t purge. Not sure if I’ll purge them or keep them. Right now, keeping them

I went through every stack. Went more quickly than I imagined it would. It was a good reminder of what I have. Have been thinking about the paper pads though. Need to go through them but my storage space isn’t overflowing any more and when I walk in there, I no longer feel overwhelmed. It’s been a process!

I'm currently sorting dies and then, when I start to cull my paper stack(s) I'm going to set aside paper to diecut. Whether I tackle that on the Silhouette or use dies on it... I'm going to be cutting up paper. I've got lots of shape dies - squares, circles, ovals, etc... so the big stuff can be cut for card fronts or journaling blocks... then little stuff can be whatever else strikes my fancy. Then I'll have diecut embellishments ready to roll when I grab my next scrapping project. That might be Christmas stuff... or maybe the big 50th birthday bash with Mike and his buddies.

It would a lot of fun to do this with a friend. I’m doing a category at a time. Finally starting to see some progress and I’m loving what I have again.

I need to do mine but it is sooooo overwhelming. I walk into start, end up staring for a bit then walk away.

I know the feeling.

I’m so in need of purging too.

That's why I always start out gangbusters and then fizzle out. It is overwhelming.

Pam - stopping at the post office on the way home from the laundromat. Maybe Tuesday your box will arrive.

The rest went in the recycle bin. :(
