Yesterday’s storms

Post by pamcook »

We had a lot of damage around us but thankfully, no trees down and no power outage at our home.

Beki Ward wasn’t so lucky. Trees down on her property and her power lines & transformer were a casualty. She was able to get a small generator before they sold out. It looks as though the power company is working there today. From the looks of things, it could have been so much worse.

Oh boy. Glad to hear Beki got the generator.

I am oh so tired of all this rain...

Glad you are both OK. It's just been lots of rain up here lately.

Goodness! Cheryl MIller's power was out, too, so there was damage at MB, too. Our little piece of the storm moved in and was gone in 15 minutes.

I hope they get their power back soon. Glad that it wasn't worse. How about Debi in OBX?

Yikes, glad you are all alright. I saw Beki’s FB photos of the damage and the great crew that was out at 6am to take care of the damage. You Easterners are brave. Stay safe.

WOW! I watched the videos. Those people on that long dock sure took their sweet time getting to safety! Relieved you are alright Debi.
