Some cards and a layout

Post by pugmom »

It's too quiet around here so I thought I'd share a few things I've done lately.

First, some cards. I saw a "Sag....you're it" card using the Maude stamp from Art Impressions on Pinterest and knew I had to make one to have on hand.

And this is the page I did of our recent snow storm.

They’re wonderful!

And yes, too quiet! Has been for months. It’s a busy month for us but I still hope to find time for some scrapbooking. Maybe this weekend?

Sue you are always so creative and imaginative. LOVE your fun cards and your elegant ones. I’m afraid I LOL at your LO. Beautiful as your photos are I’m sure you are very done with “spring”. Hoping for some sunshine for you.

Here’s something I’m making as Christmas gifts for my Bible Study group. There are 12 of us so I hope I get done by then. It’s called a stationery box. It has 4 A2 cards with envelopes, 4 gift cards, 4 gift tags, a post it pad, & 4 stamps. You could make a place for a pen and I might but haven’t completely tweaked it the way I want it yet. It was fun and everyone can use cards!!

Sue, your cards are great. I've been whinging a LOT about what a crappy spring we've had - very cool temps and a lot of rain. But not 10.5" of snow, so I'll shut up for now.
Debbie - that's a lovely gift idea; very thoughtful with the inclusion of the stamps. And a great way to use up a collection of paper you don't need.

All of your projects are wonderful!

I watercolored a floral card for my nurses this week but unfortunately didn't take a photo. I'm slowly getting into the mood to create!

Oh wow Debi! This is amazing. Was the box structure a kit or did or did you create this on your own? All of your cards and tags are fabulous. I recognize that gold paper. I have a sheet or two of that left. What an industrious project...your group will be astonished and love them.

Farley, search Stationery box tutorial and you'll find a slew of them. I did those as gifts years ago but forgot about it since then. I'm thinking I'll be making some for gifts myself this year!

Thanks for posting the links Monica. I’ve made 4 so far and with each one I get faster, heck it’s like a production line on my kitchen table. Good to use this stuff up!

No problem, Debbie. ;) And I think I'll be pulling out papers to make some of these myself! I have several paper lines that I love but cannot seem to scrap with, that would make lovely cards.

Thank you Monica! This is one of those perfect gifts for my sister-in-law. I haven’t done that kind of construction is ages and I always enjoyed it.
