Had to share
Re: Had to share
Poor guy! Hoping and praying he gets home soon.
Joel is still losing strength in his arm. PT recently started focusing on strength training. Will be reassessed on 4/15 about going back to work with restrictions. I have serious doubts but what do I know?

I came home at 6pm to eat, etc. Was there all day. 5 minutes ago, less than an hour later, he is being discharged!
Upper body strength is what I need to work on, with zero injuries. I hope only the best for Joel.

He has AFIB, heart rate irregularities. Added another med to the mix, follow up with Cardiologist on Monday. He looks and feels good. There was a slight discomfort for about an hour Monday morning, that sent him to ER. Have to see if this new med is doing It's job on Monday.mpizzazz wrote:So. what was wrong with Greg, is there going to be followup?pat-czap wrote:I came home at 6pm to eat, etc. Was there all day. 5 minutes ago, less than an hour later, he is being discharged!

Re: Had to share
I'm really really late checking in here. How is Greg, Joel, Elizabeth's husband and everyone else doing now? I've been caught in my Aussie permanent visa vortex for over a month now and emerged late last week in time to prepare for Robin's visit home on Tuesday.
Re: Had to share
Yes - Farley, Pat, Elizabeth? Anyone else that I missed? How are your men?
Joel sees his surgeon on Monday (4/15). He hopes he can go back to work (with restrictions). Living on disability income is for the birds. He still has to sleep in a recliner but can almost lift a 2# weight!

Oh boy Pam. It sounds like baby steps for Joel...but in the end you get there. Continued successful recovery for Joel. I hope he gets the okay to go back to work.
Greg is back in hospital. He has been sick all week. His DR on Tuesday, said he had a bad cold. On Friday he could not get up for work. His cancer DR and primary care DR said go to the ED. He has Influenza type a, which is running amok around here. His oxygen and blood pressure levels were low, so they kept him. He says he WILL be discharged today. Too much to do at home.
Elizabeth? Hope your husband is well.
Marianne...breathe. Enjoy Robin's visit.
