Lost My Mind?

I hate to admit this because some of you will think I've gone totally around the bend.

When I had my mammogram, they used a 1/4" thick 10 x 10 foam pad with adhesive on one side to pad the platform on the machine. The tech was getting ready to toss it afterwards and the lightbulb went off in my head. I had her replace the backing on the adhesive side and brought it home with me.

This is your reminder to make sure this year's mammogram has been scheduled.

I'm not due until next year, but thank you for the laugh and the reminder!

  Mine is scheduled for March 11!

Dare I ask what you're going to use the foam pad for? I may have to grab mine, if they use one.

Missy Whidden uses craft foam to give her photos and embellishments a "lift." I have thin mounting foam, but sometimes have to double it to get what I want. Thought I'd try this to see if it works.

Interesting. I keep that thin packing foam, but never thought of using it as "pop dots". Now I will. Thanks for the tip.

Good find, Pam! I don't think I've ever seen a foam pad all the years I've had mammos. Now they have a very high tech machine at our local Women's Center, in and out in a few minutes.
