Well, this took on a mind of its own. My son-in-law and his mama. For the life of me, I can’t think of her name. Ammiji (Mom), Dadeamma (Grandmom)...I’ll have to admit that I’ve forgotten it.

Riz is so good to hop on a plane to go visit her. He’s her baby. Youngest of her 11. I’ve spoken with her once on Skype (sort of - she doesn’t speak any English and I don’t speak Urdu) and we can only guess at her age - 70’s? I’ve never seen pictures of her smiling!

The yellow paper is glitter paper. And his mom’s name is Sharifan (Begum). All married women in Pakistan have the second name “Begum”. I didn’t know that until today. Last names vary within a family because their naming structure is different from western countries. “Bin” basically means “son of” if I understand correctly. Riz’s siblings all have different last names. And they don’t have birth certificates. His family all says he was born 1/1 but Cara thinks no one remembered to record it and just used that date. He is nothing at all like a Capricorn. Nothing. Anyway - back to names - Riz was given the same last name as his parents (Sattar). I always thought that was interesting. Rambling - sorry.

This was made from L & M packaging. It is a small canvas. I wanted to do a snarky comment, due to the man standing there so superior...IMHO.

I didn't have an opportunity to add any of the packaging to my AZ layouts... but.... they're still there waiting to go on something! Everyone's projects are fun to see!! We can be creative with anything!! LOL
