What a guy! I hope he doesn’t need surgery. I know first hand what a bummer foot injuries are. Keeping my best thoughts for you both for a quick recovery whatever the treatment needs to be.

Surgery is scheduled for next Thursday. The piece of bone that's fractured off is just moving around in his foot causing more damage... so surgery is the plan. It's outpatient surgery and we'll be up near Peggy... so that'll work. We'll let Chevie have some spa days at the Pet Resort.

Well, at least you and he know what needs to be done. Hopefully they can make it a quick procedure and recovery will be fast. :happy94:

Exactly what I was thinking. Once you know what you have to do you can be better prepared and ready to deal with Mike’s recovery. Do take care of yourself as well.

Sending you both :happy94:

That is good that they checked it out and can fix it relatively easy. Hope he soon feels a whole lot better.

Thank goodness this can be done out patient. Hopefully he'll be up and around in no time once the fragment is removed. After all this is over, YOU need a couple of spa days!

Thanks for the update, Debi. I hope it works out to be as easy as 'they' make it sound.

I'm glad he's getting this taken care of and will soon be pain free. I agree with Pam, you're the one that needs a spa day.

Hopefully I'll still be able to go to the scrapbook crop that I've paid for the weekend after next... already planned to board Chevie so Mike wouldn't have to deal with her... so... she's going to get a couple spa trips.. LOL
