Thanks everybody!!!

had a fun birthday day at work.... but when I got home, I got to open up my new Gemini motorized die cutter.... so lookout!! I'll be cutting lots of paper, soon. No more cranking the Big Shot!! But I won't be getting rid of it, that's for sure. Manual always works... but motorized sure will keep my arm from aching... LOL

Awesome Debi. That Gemini does look great. I watched most of Jennifer McGuire’s review of electric and manual die/embossing machines. She gave high marks for the Gemini.

The only thing with the Gemini I would give a thumbs down is the embossing mat is flimsy and when you use it with the embossing dies it’s only good for about 20 uses and then it wrinkles, warps and tears. I complained to corporate because I’ve already bought 3 so I’ve gone thru 4 and I’ve heard nothing. I posted on their Facebook Fan Group and had over 100 responses of people experiencing similar results and still no response from them and they monitor the site and see posts. I’ve heard their customer service is not that great. One lady has been waiting on a replacement machine for over a year after numerous promises that it’s on the way. I do like how it’s usually one cut and it’s done. Pretty powerful.

Good to know. That’s really poor CS from them. Especially when that is part of what that machine is supposed to do. When I was shopping for my cutting machine I found out quickly who gives good service and who doesn’t just by the way phone calls were never returned. That’s how I ended up with my KNK. Spoke to a human immediately and service has been excellent. When you start getting stories or promises that don’t get results you have to wonder about the company’s stability regardless of how they look onsite or home shopping shows. I hope you still have your first embossing machine to do that job.

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBI AGAIN! :hijack:
