Masculine Birthday Card
Masculine Birthday Card
Since Charley has gone to work at a law firm there seems to be frequent birthdays. Now the other boss (male) has a birthday so I was asked to make the card from the staff. Charley gave me a good description of boss’ personality so this is what I came up with. This is paper from a 12x12 pad of silver and gold embossed cardstock. I also embossed the Happy Birthday inside. Photos don’t show the metallic finish of the Art Deco paper and the silver matte very well.
Seeing it in a photo I now want to add something to the band. I’ll figure something out.
Next week is a co-workers birthday so guess who is making that card?

WOW! Very distinguished, very masculine, very art deco. It's perfect.
It won't be long and you will be taking orders from his co-workers.

Thanks everyone! Charley is taking it to work tomorrow so I felt I had to add something to it. I decided to keep it simple so I just repeated the shape I used inside for a little embellishing. They are the two smallest of those dies. Wish there was just one more smaller. Anyway that black paper for the center die cut just arrived today. It is from the new Tim Holtz metallic color paper pad. LOVE it! Wish you could see that the black is a metallic black. I think it helped finish the card.
