Do you have turkey and the rest like we usually do? I love Thanksgiving, lots more than Christmas. Christmas is so commercial it’s just no fun anymore.

Thanks ladies for thinking of me. I was off work and we celebrated at the cottage this year. It's about a 4-hour drive from North Bay, but I took the scenic route through Algonquin Provincial Park and enjoyed the autumn colours. Debbie we do have turkey; this year we opted for the ease of going out to dinner which we had at a century-old one-room schoolhouse turned tea room that puts on dinners for special occasions. They make everything from scratch including their cranberry sauce and desserts - so it was just like a home cooked meal, minus having to do the dishes. I'm not a fan of pumpkin anything (well, other than roasted seeds and jack-o-lanterns) so was happy to see carrot cake was an option.
