The flower on top of the tag looks perfect there-complete with stem!

Not using up much paper right now but making a dent (albeit a very small dent) in my fabric stash right now. Quilting bug has reared it's head again.
What are you making, Christy? I'm sure we all want to see. ;) We might have some fabric, too. ;) ;)

Wow, in a week? Are those 6" blocks?

I like the way you reversed the lights and darks so it's not a uniform pattern. Lots to look at.

Making cards for this bazaar I’m going to be in (November 3rd)
I’m using things I’ve bought and never used and also things like backgrounds I’ve made but never put to use. I’ll either sell lots of things or everyone will be getting cards from me. LOL
Here are a few examples.

I don’t think you’ll have any trouble selling those cards...fabulous! Love the feather card and your blue/green background is gorgeous.

Do you mind telling me what you’ll price them for? I am always stunned when I look (and only look out of curiosity) at the ready made cards at the store. I have one grocery store that sells very good looking greeting cards and they can be $10! Of course if we really priced out what one card cost us to make...I’m not going there.

What is your price point? I’ve seen home made cards here at festivals etc sell for 6 to 8 each. But I’d be hard pressed to pay that, since I have so much stuff here to make them with. They are very nice. Our little “adult community’ of 84 homes exchange birthday cards among each other and I’m the only one who makes hand made ones. Most ppl in here get them at the dollar store. It’s like you’re a rock star on your Birthday in here. Fun!

I'm going to price most of them at $5, I think.... with a sign up that says "Buy 4 and get 1 more"

Some are more simple cards and I may price them at $3... I want them to sell :-)

I've got several hundred cards... and they'll all be packaged in a cellophane envelope too... nothing I hate more than grubby fingers on things... and they'll be packaged with an envelope.

I agree, Debbie... I wouldn't buy cards out at a craft fair because I know I can make them myself... so hopefully, there will be lots of non-cardmakers who come to this fair. :-)

I had some leave time to use up before December... so I've taken this week off... thankfully, I didn't have to spend it mucking our a flooded house... yay.... so I'm spending it finishing cards, matting photos (also selling 4x6 photos matted in 5x7 mattes) ... and then putting everything in the cellophane envelopes... egads... are there little fair fairies to help?? Using up some Halloween supplies and paper scraps to make goodie bags for my grandchildren. Once stuffed, I’ll poke holes in the top to tie closed with ribbon. I think they need gold splatters and each of their names stamped on the bottom. Maybe Thickers since they’re breeding like crazy.

I had only a few stickers left on this sheet.

But now that I work from home, I have time to venture outside my scrapbook world. I have to say, these were fun to make and it sure felt great to throw away that backer sheet.

The kids will love your goodie bags! I have to get moving and make two for my grandkids I’ll be seeing next Friday.

Love your cards. That owl card and the bottom one with the house are my favorites. You. Are. A. Cardmaker!
