Sue's Sept Try To Make Something Each Day Thread
Sue's Sept Try To Make Something Each Day Thread
I'm going to try to keep up with Pam's challenge to make something every day (or in my case, at least a few times a week) so here is a card I made this morning.

How cute! That paper makes the perfect water, doesn’t it?
I’m so glad you’re joining in. We haven’t been some since 8 this morning and here it is after 7 and we’re about 2 hours from home. Maybe I’ll get some photos printed and ready for tomorrow.

Really cute card, Sue!

When I started to make yesterday's card, I thought I would make a bubble-like background so I cut some circle backgrounds with the silhouette. Well, that idea didn't pan out and I had all these circles sitting on my desk. Today's card uses a few of them. My inspiration came from a card I saw on Pinterest by Paula Reid (Yellow Bear Stamping).

And isn't there something shimmery too? Someone is going to be so happy to receive your card, Sue. Can't wait to see what you make with the rest of your circles.pamcook wrote:Those colors!

Fabulous card Sue! Don’t you love it when a plan doesn’t measure up only to make an even better one?
Getting ready to make 9/2 card. This is fun.

Thanks, all. The shimmer was already on the paper. It's from the Trimcraft First Edition Wild Flower 8x8 paper pad.

That card with the circles is a fun idea! Those would be easy to make a set for a gift, too. (My brain is already thinking about Christmas gifts.... never too early to start the crafting gifts!)
