Glitter Cardstock

Post by nancine »

I'm not a huge fan of glitter - but when it's embedded into the cardstock and doesn't flake off I like it. The glitter cardstock was on sale at Michael's so I thought it would be fun to get some to use with the cool Cabana Tiles dies from Catherine Pooler. I do have a baggie of die cut pieces now for more cards

Oh gorgeous card Nancy! Those tiles are so much fun. The newer smooth glitter paper is great and doesn’t mess up cutting machines like my KNK or your S&C.

Did you jump in on any of the new CP releases today?

I did.... I got the new ink colors and the KIND stamp set and die.
I'm trying to watch my spending and the others I do like but don't "need"
Plus soon another SOA box will come out and I might like it!

The tiles are way more fun than I thought they would be!

Yes I’ve been bad of late too. I went for the rose and leaf stamps and dies, the 2 new ink bundles and that angled square background. I’m into good background stamps lately. My problem is I need to now invest in the re-inkers of the 20+ CP ink pads I now have and love. Oy! I like the “Kind” stamp set but I have a similar one from SSS so I will settle for that one. Loved the Halloween sets but I feel better getting sets that have multiple uses...that’s my rationale anyway.

And again, I love your Caban Tiles card. I haven’t seen it yet over on SN.

It’s one of my #sprinklekindess cards Farley so I didn’t want to post over there until they receive it!

Well that makes sense. It gets a bit tricky, doesn’t it. I was going to post something on Instagram and realized the same thing.

Nancy the glitter cardstock really makes that card. I did something similar with MANY colors of plain cardstock. It came out looking very nice but yours' is really nice.

LOVE!!!

I really like the colors together

I really wish they would have sold the die seperately,
but I haven't seen it as a stand alone item yet

Elizabeth they will eventually come available soon. The main SOA kit goes on sale for members only first. Those dies were in the main kit but be patient and they will become available to non members maybe in another month. I’ll let you all know when they do. This is typical of SOA kit items. Meanwhile there is another holiday group of stamps and dies that are not in the recent Holiday SOA that will be revealed some time next week. New ink colors too...yipeee! These will be available for everyone. But StampNation members always get first crack at new releases a day before it is opened up.
