Isn't it great?? It was the easiest surgery I ever had with the absolute best results. So far, that's the only perk I've found that comes with aging. ;)

My insurance would only pay to have either near or far sighted, but not both. (Thank goodness I have better insurance now that I'm retired than I did at the Agency. Go figure.) I opted for reading glasses, and they're only 1.25, so I'm a hair from 20/20. Outside of the sunglasses habit, I now buy reading glasses everywhere - orange, blue, black, brown, rimless - you name it. Unfortunately, I leave them laying everywhere and I'm always wandering around looking for them. :lol:

Oh lucky you - my Dad had that a couple years ago and just marveled at how well he could see having been near-sighted almost his entire life! My BIL has one that's not quite bad enough yet, but he's looking forward to the surgery.

Must be a whole new look on life!
