I was up all night and when
Tom came over to take me to hospital he said I was so grey in color.
Next one was two bottles of the sodium something from the drug store
and it was the best.
Third one was some stuff you drink in 3 doses. I like it the best.
I've had polyps the last 2 times. My Mom had to have some colon removed so I
need to keep up with this.

Re: My test
Hope it continues well for you Jill. The medicine you need to take ahead of time is the worst part of it. The procedure is easy. I always worry about getting to the hospital without a problem. I know Joe will also be glad when it is over.

Yes, that and getting some food is top priority.

glad it is over for you
Re: My test - update
I'm happy to see that you got a somewhat good result
I know the medical community recommends this
for everyone over a certain age and the first time
they were going to send me for the test and I was
ready to go; until the GE guy sits down and says before
you have the test, I'm required to inform you of the possible
problems that might occur during the test, yadda yadda yadda.
Well, when he said that there is the possibility of
puncturing the colon, I said why would a person need to have
an invasive test if there are no symptoms or family history
of colon CA. The stool test should be sufficient until
there is a really good reason for doing a colonoscopy.
So, I do the Guaiac every year instead

I would do that if I didn’t have the polyps. Can’t do it with them.
