On this one I used the "postcard sticker" except that I cut the border off so it would better fit my color

I used the "winner's cup" on this one for my little sweetie

Thank you for suggesting it. I'm just getting used to the board again and have found my way to the swaps and challenges. The challenges are fun. It's gets you thinking out of the box and maybe even using some long forgotten embellies. I didn't know you were going for the full 31(?). I'm off to visit my son in North Carolina, maybe when I get back I'll pull out another 5.

I hope to get them all done.
I’m substituting a few (lion for tiger) because it feels great to use these items and I’m not going to buy random items on the list when I can make my own substitutions.
This is an older page where I added tiger postage stamps to the embellishment clusters. I have a few photos of tigers I might scrapbook.

Love the layouts.... I'm going to pull embellishments from the list and try to tie them in with things I'll be working on at re-create!

I have chuckled at some of the posts where folks have gone out and bought things that were on the list. I don't think that's what Shimelle had in mind with this challenge. I'm betting I've got something for everything on that list... OR I can cut it with the Silhouette!! Or... I can substitute something close and get things used!!

Lion and bear instead of a tiger. Someone did a great page on Pinterest which inspired this one.

Ladies, great job on the pages, and finding the random stuff in your stash to use!

I should be working, but instead I skimmed through Shimelle's videos that you posted links for. In the last video, I had to laugh at her calling the mermaid's friends purr-maids, as opposed to mer-cats. I'm impressed that while the icons might seem random, she's not using them in a totally random way. I'd be hard-pressed though, to find even the most obscure tie-in for some of the items on her list. Hopefully I'll also be equally hard-pressed to find some of those icons in my stash.

Speaking of her list, what does #20 say? Tacos?

That’s been the #1 question - yes, it’s tacos. Some of the women in the UK had never heard of a taco! Believe it or not, I have a taco wagon (food truck) in my die cuts stash but plan to use a food related die cut instead. Or, I’ll use that die cut in a layer obscuring most of it. I do have a layout of us eating tacos at a food truck while waiting on a ferry (Friday Harbor). Maybe I’ll pull it out and add that. Who knows - so many options!

Again, the whole point is to use them instead of storing them.

I had a stack of photos printed and they’re such bad quality, I’m going to go get my money back. AND my new box of printer ink doesn’t include grey - the one that’s completely empty. (Where is the temper tantrum emoji?) :angry42:
So, I jumped ahead to the exotic bird challenge.

Hope you didn't get yours from Snapfish....
