So... I got an email from eBay Monday night saying that they had changed my password and security questions due to potential unauthorized activity on my account (and I'm sure on others, too) .... that's a first for me...
I set up a new password via the "forgot password" option... and then logged in.
To find that "I" had tried to buy an $1100 drone. AND that I was looking at items like a $3000 camera and some scuba gear.
Nothing went through being paid.... since I don't have a payment method linked to my eBay account. I've changed passwords to my major shopping places like eBay and Amazon, etc. And I had to write several messages to the seller of the drone in order for him to cancel the order (which he did last night... yay).
So.... just a word to the wise.... go ahead and change your passwords to the big shopping places. AND... make them different from each other.
When we make things easy for ourselves... we also make things easy for the hackers!
Change your eBay passwords....

Re: Change your eBay passwords....
Thanks for the tip. I changed my ebay password to a very difficult one. I slows me down when I'm impulse shopping.
