This page was pure fun to work on from start to finish. We drove through Madrid, NM (pronounced MAD-rid) too late in the day for many galleries or shops to be open, but we had just enough light for Connie's Photo Park. Kathryn, was that there when you were in Madrid? Connie just moved there in 2011; it was a new addition since the last time I was there. As I said in my journaling this quirky spot is an example of Roadside Americana at its finest.

I had to open this just to figure out what "photo park" meant, and this looks like so much fun!

Great layout, and I can see why it was so fun to make.

What a brilliant idea! Do you pay to go in? I wonder how they maintain it? Your layout is perfect!

Free to go in, there's a donation box. I gather this is just in the artist's front yard. The woman who owns/runs it paints all the signs herself. We were there late in the day, but it looks like at other times you can rent costumes for those old-timey western portraits.

Your layout really captures the spirit of this quirky place, Keitha. I've just dragged my album out to compare my photos with yours. We were there in 2013, early in the day, before things had livened up, and I can't remember the photo park. Saw lots of other fun things, though!
I've added some more to my Italian Lakes thread too.
Kathryn.
