Don't get too excited. I don't have anything yet. Well, I do know what I'm asking for the challenge. But my sample isn't ready. My day went haywire and I can't find the piece of special paper I wanted to use for the challenge. So I am switching gears and hope to post by tomorrow night. Please be patient with me. Thanks so much. Sorry I'm tardy.

I think we can all understand Jen. I have more than enough to work on now.

You're good. This is for fun - not to stress anyone out!

I'm definitely not in a rush.... I just caught up with the other challenges.... and, of course, I COULD go back and do the ones from last year that I never did. Heck... THEN maybe I'd have enough cards for friends, family, and work! :-)

Okay. Now that I have this finished it seems so lame-o. This wasn't my planned idea but as I have already whined, I can't put my hands on the special piece of paper I was going to use. Where can it be?

So I changed my plans and the challenge is to make a holiday card with a critter on it. Critter or bird. Or both. I figure that's pretty easy since most people will have a deer in their collection. I obviously used the newest kit from CS, Scandinavia. Once I trimmed my panel, most of the critters disappeared but I hope to make more where they are featured more prominently. Anyway, I apologize if you think this is lame but it's all I can do right now. Hope you enjoy.

It's very pretty, Jen. I like the Scandinavian folk style.

Jen it’s a great card! That paper is adorable. I have some Scandinavian stamps that I now want to use after seeing your cute card.

What a great idea! I have animals in my embellishment stash and am often stumped as to how to use them.
The sample is very pretty. So festive!

It's a cheerful holiday card, and we need more of those!

I may have a critter or two....

Thanks for posting so quickly, Cheryl. I didn't think this challenge would test anyone's stash too greatly.

Now this one is really stretching it but I really like how this little guy looks. Much better in person but can we consider him a "critter"
