Card #3

This month’s SSS card kit is gorgeous. It includes a My Mind’s Eye 6x6 paper pad “Blush” made up of navy blue, off white and a pretty rose gold metallic. So my first card made from the kit had to have a frame of some kind. This kit will be good for some guy cards too.

Does a window frame count?

I'm open to suggestions for the bottom of the light blue panel.

How pretty are all these cards?!

Pam, have you considered just stamping a sentiment there? Maybe stamp it on a banner so if you don’t like it, you don’t have to adhere it?

Good idea. Maybe some vellum? I'll try several options.

Nancy and Pam.... gorgeous cards!!

I agree about possibly adding a sentiment on a banner on that light blue panel.

Following the loosey goosey rules we have, I am posting this layout here because I specifically used a frame to qualify. Still working on the #30dscbl challenge from Christy's Beautiful Life (Day 23) and trying hard to scrap the modern way with clusters and layers. This is the best I can do. Paper from Photoplay Nautical Bliss. See? Using and not hoarding. Thanks for looking.

Pam, of course windows count and what a great card. Yes, a sentiment would go well in the lower part of the card. Keep it blank until you need it for something specific and then add the appropriate sentiment.

Jen, love your LO and the colors. Your use of the frames are great.

A different take on using a frame to draw attention to the subject.
