Hello Fresh
Hello Fresh
I have a couple Hello Fresh boxes to give away - it's the food delivery deal (like Blue Apron)
PM me your email address and I'll have them send you the link for a free box.

Re: Hello Fresh
We did Blue Apron for a while, but it was a little too "foodie" for the kids. And, it took way too long to prepare. Do you like Hello Fresh? We've gotten coupon codes from a couple of different people, but it doesn't seem worth the effort when the kids refuse to eat what Rob and I are eating.

Re: Hello Fresh
Hello Fresh is not too foodie. I chose this company because my husband is a super picky eater, it has gotten him to experiment a wee bit though! I usually add a nice green salad to get him his veggies there are 7 or so meals to pick from so I can usually find 3 he will eat, if not I skip the week.
They are fairly easy to prepare, nice instructions and take 30-60 minutes tops to make.

Silly girl! They are nice boxes though after you unload the food!ScrappinJen wrote:I have a few in the garage. Holding scrapbook supplies temporarily.
Re: Hello Fresh
They are excellent sturdy boxes. I love them. You bet hubby is starting to be annoyed by the tower in the garage.
Nancy the Enabler got me to try Hello Fresh. I like it a lot more than Apron. It's not as eclectic and most meals are very easy to put together. I've learned some new foods or methods and I like it a lot.

Re: Hello Fresh
I really enjoyed Purple Carrot. You can't beat the convenience of these meal kits. It's hard for me to justify the cost for just one person.
Nancy - bet my husband is pickier than yours. I feel like I spend 50% of my day thinking about "what's for dinner?" and really, there's only 3-5 meals he enjoys (and would never complain about eating over and over again). I'm the only who gets so.very.tired of the same thing. My food experiments are at lunch time!

They are quite similar Pam! He did say however that we have been eating his way for so long he doesn't mind doing this some weeks!
This weekend at Scramp Camp I ate at 2 restaurants he does not enjoy! So that was fun.

There is even talk of having one up in the Portland area - two of our friends now live in Washougal and KJ is now on dialysis and so travel is difficult for her.
She did come down here for a week (taking care of her dad's estate etc) but had to find places to go have the dialysis.
One gal flies down every year from Seattle!
