Gosh, his positive attitude must go a long way in navigating all he has to go through! Good for him!

Hang in there you two! :happy94:

Positive attitude is everything! My FIL survived pancreatic cancer for four years longer than his doctors told him he would. When I announced I was expecting his first grandchild, he said that he was going to live long enough to see her born (he did). Then he said he'd be there for her first Christmas, and her first birthday. The power of positive thinking let my FIL have the experience of being a grandparent. :D

His mantra...the force is with him...lol.

He does not want to be anything but positive.

This central line with 3 lumens (sp?) for infusions, had him more freaked out than the thought of a bone marrow transplant. Go figure.

Keep a good thought that he gets assigned to the RED pod area of the transplant center...Greg is a huge Detroit Red Wings FAN, and that's where he wants to be.

Thank you ladies. :happy94:

There are those who would sit in a chair and feel total shut down, and then the other half who says let's get it done.
Greg is not so comfortable in that chair, figuratively and literally. He can't sit still. I wish I talked with his mom more, about what he was like as a kid. Greg shares some good memories.

On the other hand, I would be in the chair temporarily, and then I'd get moving. I have a different makeup then Greg. ;)

So tomorrow is the day Greg goes in the hospital. Hope we are ready for this.

An old friend of mine sent me a little travel watercolor set with paper and instruction book...to help with all the waiting.

I think she thinks, I have hidden talent. I am a bit afraid of this set.

Use those watercolors.... just paint what you're feeling... you don't have to share it with anyone... then you can cut them up or stamp on them or put them in an art journal.... whatever you do... it'll keep your mind occupied!

The waiting is never fun.... so those watercolors will be a super diversion!
