Re: August Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge
And here's a quick card -diagonal using the color swatch, tiny stamps and flowers and as a bonus the sketch.
I'm busy getting ready for my X-Ray girls reunion weekend! Almost 40 years ago we met as anxious students cruising the campus in our all white uniforms! How far we've come! It's been a few years since we've done a weekend, but we keep in touch via FB. We're going to a cabin in the hills down past Salinas, gonna float in the river!

Very cute card Nancy. Like the sentiment and how it's done.

Re: August Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge
Now that I'm posting this, I realize I didn't really accomplish the tic tac toe. But I did make this card specifically for this challenge so I'm posting it anyway. I'm going to call the banner a piece of ribbon. It's like a paper ribbon. Yeah, that's it.
So I used watercolor (Zig) on my die cut poppies. I have tiny flower stamps (more than five) on the background piece behind the oval (I hope you can see them. I used Shabby Shutters on that olive paper. And, of course, the poppies are flowers. I could also say I kind of used the color sample but I only have purple and green and a yellowish green. None of that bright color. So I hit seven on the squares. Just not in sequence. I'll try harder. All supplies from Club Scrap Vintage Botany.

Bottom row. Die cut, yes, flowers, yes, banners? Sort of! bonus points for using scraps? The colours look a bit like the top corner swatch too
