I saw these online at some point and decided they'd be easy enough to make... so I spent this afternoon cutting and gluing... and just having a bunch of fun! I'm going to take them to work for the folks on my hall... they've got candy inside... :-)

Surprisingly... I had dies for all the pieces that needed to be cut... tummy, wings, beak, and eyes... hooray!!! Glad I bought those little Spellbinders Media Mixage dies a long time ago when I saw them in Tuesday Morning... those little things came in very handy today!

Oh... and they're made with a toilet paper tube as the base part. The rest is all cardstock.

Those are ADORABLE! We were up late last night trying to keep Jake on task filling out his little dollar store valentines. This holiday blind-sides me every year, and you'd think I'd have it figured out by now. I don't think we've ever picked out school valentines more than 48 hours in advance, ever. And in the 15 years I've worked at my current job, I don't think I even remember hearing anyone acknowledge V-day. Your co-workers are lucky indeed!
