Perfect paper and sweet photo, Jill.

What do you do with your digital pages? Do you print them or just keep them stored? I have scads of them and always wondered what to do with them. I'm thinking I might print them as 6 x 6 and use up some of these smaller albums. Then again, there are probably photos that I did as digis that never translated to paper LOs, so that might give me a good place to look for photos. It's a dilemma that I need to solve one way or the other.

Jill - I love everything about that layout. The paper couldn't be more perfect for that photo, which is so very sweet.

Pam - I've printed tons of 12x12s, back when I was doing digi. I had a large format printer that I used for some, but mostly I'd wait until I had 30 or more, and I'd get them printed at Costco. They charged 2.99 for 12x12, which was no worse than an 8x10 at Walgreens. Costco is about 25 minutes away though, so that's why I'd wait until I had a bunch of them.

In other cases, if I had an entire album's worth, I'd load them to Shutterfly and wait until they had a 50% off albums coupon to actually order it. That was before Walgreens did photo books. I've never ordered one from Walgreens, but that's where I'm currently building the book for my brother's wedding photos. I will tell you that I've done 12x12 books and 8x8 books from shutterfly, and I found that the scale was just too small for me. I did my digis with a perspective of of it being a 12x12 layout, and I wasn't really thrilled with the shrunken result. I only did the 8x8 format because it was "free" (just had to pay shipping). I'm doing my brother's wedding with the knowledge that the book will be 8x8, so the photo and font sizes should feel "normal".

Lovely layout Jill!

Julie, your comment about building digi pages with the eventual printed size in mind is spot on.

this is a paper layout

but when I do digital I print some of them through a photo printer company
I did some 6X6 for grands
I resize the layouts and put 4 on a 12X12 page, sent a company to print.
when I get them I cut apart and give to grands
