Watching his sneak peek video now.... I like the size of his... and the fact that two sides are open so the paper can be even bigger than the 8.5 x 8.5 area... so... fun for stamping a background on 12x12 if you wanted to position things in the same place around all the corners, etc. OR... for making big cards using a full 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper... wonder how much this will cost...

The WRMK Precision Press also has two sides open - and my gal at the LSS tells me you can also use rubber stamps in it as you can in Tim's, although they don't make a point of telling you that. I haven't tried it. The big difference I see is the magnets - but if you don't care about those the Precision Press is available now and I think is a bit cheaper.

I posted about my WRMK Precision Press several months ago here. It is awesome and I tend to go to it for all my stamping. It is indeed open on two sides allowing you to fully stamp 12x12 papers. Haven't tried that yet but it automatically adjusts for either cling mounted rubber or clear stamps via the adjusting hinges without having to change the lid around. I've done both type stamps with great sharp success. No magnets with this one. There is a slight texture to the base which keeps the paper in place. It's about 7X7 in size so nice and compact. It's average cost is around $30.

Tim's tool looks terrific also and many good features. It's a bigger one so perhaps a bit cumbersome in toting it about to crops etc. He is always clever to add what appears to be unique features to what is now a common tool. But in the long run they all do the same good job. Hampton Arts has one out now also. A friend just got one so I'm waiting for her review on it.
