Christmas at the Beach

We decided to do an outdoor tree this year. It's really hard to find a spot in the tiny house for a tree. Space is just too much of a premium. I saw one of these on Pinterest and it dawned on me that I've collected a whole pile of driftwood over the last few years so why not give it a try. We even had to make an emergency run to the beach this afternoon for more driftwood. Not that I didn't have enough, but I needed a few more that were the size for the base. I'm going to put some small white lights on and am making some ornaments out of seashells. I had an old rusty boat in my stash too, and we're using it for a topper.

It's so cute! I was just thinking that a photo of it would make such pretty Christmas cards as well.
You're so creative with driftwood.

Amazing Rachelle! You really have the creative touch. And yes, do post further photos of it. Will this be something you can use again for next year?

Thanks everyone! And yes, it was very easy to put together once all the holes were drilled it probably took an hour. I will probably just take it apart after Christmas and stack the wood up on the deck somewhere. May even just leave it up bare for another month or so.

I think you should take it to the beach decorated and snap a photo of it - that would be a great card for next year!
