Thank you, my friends, who don't celebrate it today!

It's a grim looking day outside this morning. Hope it clears up so people can walk off their dinner later this afternoon.

I've just been browsing the paper and fabric sales online. Didn't buy anything! I'm saving myself for this sale on Monday-25% off. https://www.etsy.com/shop/KFNeedleworkDesign

May your stuffing be tasty,
May your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious,
May your pies take the prize.
May your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off of your thighs.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I'm getting ready to do the Turkey Wobble here locally. It's a 5 k walk or run. I'm doing it with my granddaughter, Allyson. She's running it and I'm walking it. She says she's going to try to win it and she probably will. She runs the 5k in 18.22 as her best yet. It takes me 55 minutes!

Hope everyone has a great day!
Our sunny 70 degree day is really overcast and 50's.
I might go wrap some Christmas presents. It's too cold to be up in the attic bringing down decorations.

Happy Thanksgiving dear friends. I am grateful for many things and one in particular is my friendship with all of you.

I am lazily just getting up. The day is clear, crisp and cold...39 is cold for us. I'm headed into the kitchen to fire up my Butterfly for the first latte of the day and get my baking done. At some point we will go bird a nearby area and then back to finish cooking and EAT.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! Cheers! :happy94:

I hope your day is progressing well. :D

Greg and I are busy unpacking boxes. I have all the boxes emptied in my craft room, but the room is a disaster!

The turkey is in the oven, thanks to Greg. I will get busy with side dishes shortly. I baked a pie yesterday. We will be having a late dinner...

Thank you for being here my friends, I appreciate each of you so very much!

Hope everyone is enjoying their day. We had our dinner about 2ish. Then went for a walk in a light warmish (50 degree) drizzle. Later at our normal dinner time, we will have pumpkin cake roll for dessert and coffee.

Lesson learned. Searing a steak in a really hot pan might be the perfect way to prepare it but when you don't have an exhaust fan...

Dishes are washed and dying in the drainer. Leftovers are in the fridge. Heading out to help with the leaves. If I get another page done, I'll try to get it posted.

I was good at Thanksgiving dinner and didn't pig out, plus the Turkey Wobble was fun. Allyson took first place for the women so she achieved her goal, I walked it and took me 54 minutes and it's a good thing the first part is uphill because coming back seemed like a breeze all downhill. Dummy me forgot my camera at home! Lost scrapbook opportunity! :(

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We're still at the farm and will go home tomorrow. We celebrated last night with dinner for 19. Everything was delicious. Today was rest and leftovers.

Yummy..... delicious turkey... and fresh green beans.... and a little bit of stuffing (I made it in the muffin pan so I wasn't tempted to eat a ton of it - trying to watch what I'm eating).... Mike also had sweet potato and cranberry sauce. So.... neither one of us is over-stuffed.... and we have leftovers for - well - for however long they last. LOL
