There's a huge denial of service attack going on ... hitting the major data centers around the country.... so some websites simply can't be reached due to this huge barrage of data being thrown at them.. just for the purpose of denying others access to those sites... PayPal is included... so no processing of payments via PayPal right now...

Actually, ours was worse yesterday. I did almost go to paypal earlier but then didn't. That map is very impressive. I loved reading the comments under the map.

Very interesting. I noted that this site was down today for a brief period when I was composing a post. It was back up shortly, so I just figured it was an impromptu reboot.

There was an earlier attack.... that was solved... and then this started this afternoon.... that map isn't looking any better....

I'm going to fill up my car with gas and then will be heading up to Peggy's... have a baby shower to attend tomorrow... and then going to the Hampton Stamp Scrap Art convention... should be fun

I haven't had issues reaching any specific sites today although have notice my connection time is horrible. Certainly a PITA if you're trying to work.

I had one few second flicker around 4:30.... that was it. And I would have chalked it up to network hiccups.

The only problem I've had was last night trying to get onto this forum. It lasted about 1 hour and then cleared up.

I spent most of yesterday on the phone with center staff and then sending info to the insurance company. Then getting chewed out, but I had company with that one. (Retirement can't come soon enough.) Last night I didn't even spend any time online - sat down to watch Killing Reagan and went to sleep.

Short response - if there were problems I sure as heck didn't notice them.

I was trying to get on a site for my granddaughter. I could never get it to come up. Later I read on FB about the attack. Guess that was one of the sites. Other than that I had no problems yesterday.
