2016 October Card Sketch Challenge - Pop Up Panel Card
Re: 2016 October Card Sketch Challenge - Pop Up Panel Card
Here's my card. After a good night's sleep has kept the jetlag at bay today, I could do the math and this was almost fun! Apparently I can't take a sharp photo though.
I did have to make my card base 4.5 x 11 instead of 4.25 because my inside piece was 4.25.

by the way the pattern was totally different from Farleys

I love that card, Marianne! Is that Graphic 45? I have some loved but never-used Graphic 45 that would per rather perfect for this card design.

Great card Marianne!

Wow Marianne! Jet lag certainly didn't slow your creativity down. Fabulous card and yes...G45 is ideal for this format. Thanks for playing and slogging through my tutorial.
Jill can you give us a link to where you found your version of this card?

this was from a you tube video by Donna Gray
She gies cutting instructions during video
There is another lady that makes one too but it is super long
I hope link works for video

I watched another one by Donna Gray but it wasn't that one. Anyway, the basic idea is the same and there are many ways to achieve a similar result. I mostly followed Farley's instructions. I've got another idea and want to make a Christmas one but my fabric has been calling me...

I was trying to open and close the card I made and it was so floppy
I remade it narrower and heavier cardstock

I'm working on one but I have messed up several sheet of card stock because I didn't listen the whole way. I am sure once I totally figure it out it will be easy but the first one is hard.

That's why I like to learn from diagrams and photos and not videos. You can look at the instructions over and over without missing something when it keeps playing.
